How does it work?
The text you type is drawn directly onto a canvas in your browser to create the stamp image. Nothing is sent to a server β the whole process runs on your own device.
The round shape splits your text into rows of two characters (4 characters become a 2x2 grid; 3 characters become 2 on top and 1 centered below; 2 characters form a single row; 1 character is centered). With all 4 slots filled, the characters are drawn large enough that their corners almost touch the circle's border. The oval shape stacks the characters vertically in a single column, the way a traditional East Asian personal seal is laid out.
What can it be used for?
- A simple decorative stamp for online documents or images
- A design mockup to preview a shape before having a physical stamp engraved
- Marking a "sample" or "draft" watermark on presentation slides or form templates
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this on an actual contract?
We don't recommend it. An image made with this tool is not a legally registered seal or signature. For real contracts or official documents, use a proper handwritten signature or a seal registered through the appropriate government office in your country.
Why is the round shape limited to 4 characters and the oval to 3?
These limits are based on common East Asian personal-seal layouts, where a round seal often fits a name in a 2x2 grid of up to 4 characters, and a tall oval seal reads best with about 3 stacked characters before it gets too long.
Is the PNG background transparent, not white?
Yes, it's saved with a transparent background, so it overlays naturally on documents or photos. The checkerboard pattern in the preview just indicates transparency β it isn't part of the actual image.
