Face Shape Analyzer

Take a photo with your camera or upload one, and we'll measure the ratio of your forehead, cheekbones, jawline, and face length to give you a detailed face shape analysis.

How does the analysis work?

Using Google's MediaPipe face recognition technology, this tool finds 8 key landmark points on your face (forehead, cheekbones, jawline, and face length) and calculates the width-to-length ratio between each section. Based on these ratios, your face is classified into one of 6 face shapes and shown to you along with the actual measured values and a detailed analysis. All analysis happens entirely within your browser β€” the photo you take is never sent to or stored on a server. The camera turns off immediately after capture, and the photo disappears automatically once you leave the page.

A note on accuracy

This analysis is a reference-only estimate based on the proportions in your photo. Results can vary depending on the angle, lighting, and how much your bangs cover your forehead. A front-facing photo with your forehead clearly visible will give a more accurate result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the photo I take saved or sent anywhere?

No. The photo is processed briefly in your browser's memory only and is never uploaded anywhere. It disappears completely once you refresh or leave the page.

What do the percentage figures shown mean?

Using cheekbone width as the baseline (100%), we show what percentage your forehead width and jaw width are, along with how many times your face length is relative to your cheekbone width. Your face shape is classified using a combination of these four figures.

Can I use this if I don't allow camera access?

Yes β€” you can get the same analysis by uploading an existing photo with the "Upload Photo" button instead of using the camera.

I'm the same person, but I get different results in different photos.

The measured ratios can vary slightly depending on the angle, expression, and how much your bangs cover your forehead. Comparing several front-facing photos can give you a more consistent result.
